Media
Software
We work with the latest versions of the following software (MAC):
QuarkXPress, PageMaker, InDesign, FreeHand, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop, ArtPro
Formats
You can send us the following file formats:
- open files of the programs mentioned above
- EPS (not separated) with embedded fonts and pictures
- PDF (not separated)- if DCS-pictures are used, send them separately from the PDF-file!
Look
We warrant the full printed look when you send us:
- all logos and images (TIF, EPS),
- all nonembedded fonts, and
- a PDF file for reference.
Systems
Folding boxes created or subsequently edited on a PC (Microsoft) require prior agreement and if necessary a test before we can process these. At worst the folding box may have to be reset on the MAC system.
We can process copy for package inserts when this is provided as an open or closed file created with the above software or as a simple text file. Please bear in mind that most text files, above all from PC sources, will have to be reformatted.
We accept files from other typesetting systems only after consultation with the ordering party and a necessary test.
We use PDF X3 files as test files – on request also as print files.
