CTP presses built in 2009 generate high precision printing plates for the prepress phase. This media section is supported by proofers that document the printed results in advance with up to 98% colour fidelity.

The cardboard printing group produces exclusively III.B press sheets on six colour K&B offset presses (built 2008–2009) with inline varnishing and fully automated rigging and resumed printing configurations. New, automated punching and adhesive lines from Bobst process the press sheets into high quality folding boxes. The manufacturing process is completed by a robot system with automated uprighting, filling, labelling, and palletising of wrapping cartons.

Every year we process over 20,000 jobs, each involving from 1000 to 3,000,000 pieces or about 24,000 pieces on average. Both the smaller batches and the large scale orders, in part divided into requests for delivery, are handled as scheduled. Our convincing solutions are constant companions to the growing tendency towards greater colour variation and surface finishing in particular for OTC products and cosmetics.

The paper printing group operates on two to four colour Drent-Goebel  web offset presses with cross cutter. Two offline folders can be programmed for individual prefolding operations with downstream bundling and packaging.

The QM system complying with DIN EN ISO 9001 was introduced in 1993 and since then has been expanded and improved systematically. A great many experts in the quality management fields and many of our customers make sure that our quality standards meet with the highest possible demands and continue to adapt to the current requirements. Adherence to DIN ISO 9001-2000 and a large number of GMP regulations is assured by specially qualified professionals and new technologies that in part have already been validated. For instance the printed results are examined with a Krauss full sheet testing system. For braille we use a system developed jointly with In-Situ.
