Training for media technology printing specialist
Alexander, 17 years,
trainee for media technology printing specialist
„Big machines have always impressed me, so that print machines immediately cast a spell over me when I saw them during an exposition. It was clear that I wanted to become a media technology specialist. Media technology specialists create flyers, brochures, newspapers or folding boxes and user information, such as we do. After preparing all materials for the order (for example, cardboard, paper& color), I set up the printing machine and the printer actually starts printing. During the print processes, I monitor all machine functions in order to maintain a steady quality. If required, I correct the settings. My task does not only consist in product printing, because I also clean and maintain the machine."
The training for media technology printing specialist takes 3 years and is implemented as a dual system between practical training and vocational school. Our trainees in Miesbach can follow a training at the Senefelder state vocational school, our trainees in in Barleben can learn their profession at the vocational school in Leipzig.
