Enlarged Barleben plant for considerable Kroha expansion
Miesbach, 20 June 2007:
As a measure to master continued growth the Barleben plant board decided to expand the buildings and halls from their present 5000 m² to an enormous 9500 m². The building work is scheduled to start in the spring of 2008. On completion next year capacity will be raised by 50% of the present output. Even now the personnel for the new extension are being successively supplemented in the established manner and familiarised with the new shift models. Also this expansion is to absorb a considerable part of the load on the Miesbach plant that is now operating at the limits of its capacity since it started production in 2002. All in all this will see us take another great step on the path of alternating investments in our plant.
